"When experts in my field know that I’m from Wheelock, I know they’ll be confident in me."

For almost 125 years, Wheelock College has been educating people to be successful while making a positive impact anywhere in the world they choose to live and work. We are a four-year university offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in Boston, Massachusetts, a small, world-class city on the northeastern seacoast of the U.S.

Wheelock faculty and staff have years of experience in international education around the globe and are very effective in helping students thrive in various cultures, embrace new ways of learning, and gain real-world experience through professional internships. In addition to our main campus in Boston, Wheelock has a campus in Singapore, is developing programs in Africa, and has been educating students in the Caribbean for almost two decades.

Our international students and alumni come from many different countries including: China, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Africa, Bermuda, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, and Germany.

The university is of a size (800 undergraduate and 275 graduate students) that fosters strong personal relationships between students, faculty, and staff. This is especially important for international students looking for special support and resources as they learn their way around the culture, the classrooms, the city, and the country.  Our campus, located in a tree-lined and very safe part of Boston, is a little over one hectare in size -- small enough to feel comfortable and close to all that Boston has to offer.

Also, Wheelock is one of six neighboring universities that, together, form the Colleges of the Fenway. We share academic programs and social activities, so you can actually be part of a 11,000 person community of which over 400 are international students and U.S. students who have been educated overseas prior to college.

All of these opportunities enable international students U.S. overseas students to make the most of their educational, cultural, social, and work experience in the U.S.  We look forward to exploring whether Wheelock may be right for you. Please feel free to contact us at undergrad@wheelock.edu.
