Friday, May 29th

Friday kicked off the weekend with a special luncheon in our new cafeteria in the Campus Center and Student Residence (CCSR). The impressive new space allowed plenty of room for catching up and reminiscing. Faculty, staff and Administrators at the College joined alumni for this luncheon.  Laughter and conversation could be heard all afternoon!

Friday afternoon, alumni participated in a faculty workshop given by Deborah Lisansky Beck, MSW, LICSW, Assistant Professor of Social Work entitled Stress Reduction Strategies: Using the Wisdom of Body and Mind to Foster Self-Care. Participants enjoyed being back in the classroom again for this interactive discussion of the origins and effects of stress and of self-care strategies that promote wellness and help us manage stress effectively.  

Friday evening brought the President's Reception followed by the Celebration Dinner both on the Brookline Campus.   Conductor John Williams and the Boston Pops welcomed our Alumni back to Symphony Hall with a salute to the legendary achievement of the great MGM Musical Director Stanley Donan.  The POPS, a tradition during Reunion Weekend, yet again, did not disappoint! Those who chose to stay on campus were treated to a performance of Ben's Trumpet at the Wheelock Family Theatre. It was fabulous! The fantastic Friday night events were followed by a decadent dessert reception in the CCSR.
