Renewals

Materials may be renewed once, if no one else has requested the item, and if the item is not overdue. Renewals can be handled over the phone, in person, or online through the Library's catalog. Please renew your items either the day before or on the day the item is due. Once an item is overdue, you must bring the item to the library to check it out for another borrowing period.

Holds and Recalls

If an item you need is currently checked out you may request that it be placed on hold for you at the Circulation desk upon its return. You may do this by contacting the Circulation department or by using the My Account feature in the Library's catalog. Please note that this feature cannot be used to place holds on items currently in the Library.

Once the requested item is returned, you will be notified and the item will be held at the Circulation Desk for seven days.

Holds may not be placed on any items that circulate for less than 21 days.

Please be aware that, under certain circumstances, items checked out to your account may be recalled by the Library. You may keep a recalled item for no more than 14 days (students) or 45 days (faculty and staff). If an item has been recalled and you have renewed it or it is overdue, you will be required to return the item.
