Friday Community Nights
We offer FREE fun and challenging workshops before all Friday evening performances.
- Join us for Teen Takeovers at "A Tale of Two Cities," a dynamic, narrative-driven workshop led by a WFT teacher/artist.
- WFT's choreographer offers a Musical Theatre Workshop before the Friday performances of "Honk!"
- Younger children are invited to meet the cast at Pajama Parties before the Friday performances of "The Little Mermaid."
Your family will get a behind-the-scenes view of how a theatre production is put together, along with some insights that will prepare your children for the show they are about to see. Admission to these programs is free, but reservations are recommended as space is limited; contact tickets@wheelock.edu to reserve your space.
Saturday Talk-Backs
After every Saturday matinee, WFT directors, designers, and actors talk about the show, and give audience members a chance to ask questions. You'll be able to explore the themes of the play, and get some behind-the-scenes insights into how shows are put together.
Meet the Cast on Sundays
Meet cast members up close! Audiences have a chance to chat informally with cast members in the lobby after every Sunday matinee.
Study Guides
Enrich your child's theatre experience by requesting the WFT study guide for any show. For a minimal fee WFT will mail a special study guide to your home filled with backstage and background articles for each show. Contact tickets@wheelock.edu for more information, or to sign up. Subscribers receive Study Guides for free!
Review a Performance

Have Dinner at Wheelock on Fridays!

Subscribe to the WFT Season
As a Season or Flex Subscriber, you are invited to attend special events around each production. Meet the artists, chat with a Board member, and talk to the production team. Birthday Party Celebrations
A Birthday Party at WFT is fun! Your child can share the experience of live theatre with friends ¾ it's a time they'll never forget. For $150.00 you receive a private room for your party, a special gift for the children, and after the show- a backstage tour.
