Join your classmates in giving back to Wheelock, while leaving a legacy on campus at the same time. The Senior Class Gift Committee has chosen to dedicate a tree in the new CCSR quad in memory of Professor Walter Burke. A plaque dedicated to Walter will be installed beside the tree, with a special note that the tree was given by the class of 2009.
By making a gift, you will receive special recognition in the 2008-2009 Annual Report of Giving in the Fall 2009 Wheelock College alumni magazine.
Our goal is to raise $209 in honor of the class of 2009. If we reach our goal, an anonymous donor has agreed to match that gift! In total, you could give more than $400 back to Wheelock! We would also like to reach a rate of 70% participation from all seniors.
Just think, if you give up your coffee for ONE day, you can put that money toward the Senior Class Gift and help your class leave a legacy on campus. You'll also be setting an example for Wheelock students to come. Not only are you learning about what it takes to be a philanthropist, but you are also setting the standard by helping Wheelock to go green!
