Educating Homeless School Age Children

Our Heal, Thrive, Grow series continues with "Educating Homeless School-Age Children: A Community and Clinical Response." Join educators, behavioral health practitioners, and community partners for this panel discussion and workshop to share resources and identify strategies that help homeless children thrive in school.

The Rev. Dr. Gregory G. Groover Sr., chairperson of the Boston School Committee, will deliver the keynote address.

Additional presenters include:

  • Katherine T. Volk, Director of Training, National Center on Family Homelessness
  • Mary William, Program Director, Boston Public Schools Unified Student Services: Homeless Student Initiative

The cost to attend both the discussion and the workshop is $79; CEUs are available for an additional $39. The cost for current graduate and undergraduate students is $25. Scholarships are available.
