Priority Application Deadlines

Our Graduate Education Programs allow students to matriculate in the fall or summer semesters; however, our Social Work, Leadership and Child Life programs only begin in the fall. Concurrently, our Leadership program will have an additional January entry period for new students in 2010.  Likewise our national and regional programs may start at times that do not coincide with our Boston campus semesters. If you have questions about program start dates, our faculty and admissions staff would be happy to help you find an entry date that is most beneficial to you.

Our graduate programs adhere to the following priority deadlines for application. In general, our application deadlines are guidelines that students should use to complete their application. In setting these priority deadlines the College has taken into consideration the need for applicants to secure academic and field experience advising prior to the start of their academic program. However, we will consider applications past the deadline as long as we are able. Please Note: The Child Life and Family Centered Care Program will NOT consider applications submitted or completed after March 15th.

Summer Semester (June):	March 1, 2010
Fall Semester (September):	May 1, 2010
Child Life Program:	March 15, 2010 (firm)
Leadership Program:	January 1, 2010 (Spring) and May 1, 2010 (Fall)

 

The Admissions Committee makes every attempt to notify applicants of a decision within four to six weeks of receipt of a complete application.

International students are encouraged to apply at least one month prior to the priority deadlines listed above. It is common for the processing and gathering of materials to take longer for international students and we want to ensure that any and all applicants have the best chance of being considered for their desired term.
